ขั้นตอนที่แนะนำ มีดังนี้ (หลังจากทำแล้วสำเร็จ ลื่น โอเค)

1. ติดตั้ง Fedora 10.. ผมเริ่มจาก Live CD (Gnome) 
2. ถ้าเข้าเว็บบางเว็บไม่ได้ (ทดลองกับ twitter.com ก็ได้) ให้ทำการอัพเดท glibc
   (เช่น โดยการ yum install glibc) ถ้ายังเข้าเว็บไม่ได้ ไม่ควรรีบ yum update เพราะมันจะพยายามโหลดทุกอย่างมา upgrade ด้วยความยากลำบากแสนสาหัส
   (หมายเหตุ ถ้าจำเป็นต้องเข้าเว็บอะไรด่วนจริงๆ ลองใช้ผ่าน www.hidemybox.com)
3. หลังจาก install เสร็จแล้ว ลอง reboot แล้วดูว่าเข้าเว็บทั่วไปได้แล้ว ความเร็วเป็นปกติ
4. yum update เพื่อ upgrade ให้ทุกอย่างทันสมัย
5. ดูการติดตั้ง Planet CCRMA จาก http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/software/
   ทำตามหัวข้อนี้:

   Adding the Planet CCRMA repositories
   

   For Fedora 10:

   ทำ
   rpm -Uvh http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/mirror/fedora/linux/planetccrma/10/i386/planetccrma-repo-1.1-2.fc10.ccrma.noarch.rpm
   และ
   yum update
   

   Installing the low latency kernel

   ทำ
   yum install planetccrma-core
   เพื่อ install real-time Linux kernel
   
6. ไม่จำเป็นต้อง Testing the new kernel
7. อยากได้โปรแกรมอะไร เลือกได้ตามอัธยาศัยหลังจากนั้น หรือถ้าจะลงทั้งหมด ลองเลือก:
   yum install planetccrma-apps
